Managed to replace the light bulbs. The trick was to depress the ends of the connector on the back of the bulb and than pull it. On the first pic you see left the stock bulb and right the Philips XP Moto, on the second pic both bulbs have been replaced. Seems I now have to change the city lights as well to make them a bit brighter too.
Added some oil to the Pan as well today.

I bought a Pan ST1300A about 7 weeks ago and have enjoyed reading your experiences with the bike. Me and my Bro-In-law plan to do some touring this year starting with a trip to bonny Scotland on a couple of weeks. Do you still experience the seeking (or wobble as I call it) since changing your suspension?
Yep, the wobble is still there. Just can't get rid of it. Stick to legal speeds and you're fine ;)
