January 31 2009, 68,290km

Wanted to start the Pan for the first time this year. With a little aid from my car it finally did. To lock the seating back in place I had to use the key, so I had to turn off the engine. When the seat was fitted I wanted to start the Pan again, but it didn't want to. So I removed the battery to charge it back home (don't have electricity in my garage).

I'm afraid I have to use the Pan to go to work the next couple of days, since my designated commuter bike, the XJ900F, kicked the bucket.

not a good idea to do this, it can fry your regulator/rectifier. that's why they sell so many bike batt trickle chargers.
